The 2023 Winter Exhibition, themed "A Trilateral Artistic Dialogue Transcending Borders," will be held from January 10 to 15, 2024 at the AMPLE Group Global Taipei Office.
Breaking away from the confines of conventional galleries, this exhibition transforms the office space into a unique curatorial platform, offering viewers a refreshing and immersive art experience. The juxtaposition of artworks with office furniture within the contemporary workspace generates a captivating visual effect, inspiring viewers to contemplate and engage with art in a new light.
The exhibition brings together three artists of different nationalities and artistic styles, showcasing a multifaceted panorama of artistic creativity. Korean artist MeME captures the essence of happiness found in culinary delights through her meticulous observations and imaginative interpretations of everyday objects such as melting ice cream, the elasticity of jelly, and the cross-section of candy. Guided by the philosophy of "sustainable capitalism," Japanese artist Mago utilizes discarded electronics from developed countries to create thought-provoking artworks that raise awareness of environmental pollution and advocate for social issues such as education for children in slums. Spanish artist Ruben Abstract's works depict solitary swimmers, symbolizing the courage and perseverance required in the pursuit of self-discovery. Each of his artwork is a unique and original creation crafted with enamel paint, epoxy resin, and recycled textiles.
The exhibition opening reception will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the AMPLE Group Global Taipei Office. Renowned coffee master Warren Chen will be invited to present a live coffee brewing demonstration, while professional art docents will provide insightful tour of the participating artists' creative concepts and art features. We cordially invite you to join us and immerse yourself in the captivating world of art.
Focusing on food, MeME's delectable artworks capture the joy and happiness found in everyday culinary experiences. Inspired by melting ice cream, the elasticity of jelly, and the cross-section of candy, her works create a cheerful and heartwarming atmosphere, reminding us of the simple pleasures hidden in life's little details.
Guided by the philosophy of "sustainable capitalism," Mago creates thought-provoking artworks that address pressing social issues such as electronic waste pollution and education inequality in slums. By utilizing discarded electronics from developed countries in his creations, he raises awareness of environmental concerns and advocates for sustainable development.
Formerly a food industry worker, Ruben Abstract embarked on his artistic journey in 2017, becoming a self-taught painter. His vibrant and optimistic works often feature solitary swimmers, symbolizing the courage and perseverance required in the pursuit of self-discovery. Using enamel paint, epoxy resin, and recycled textiles, Ruben creates unique and original artworks that celebrate individuality and freedom, echoing his own courageous journey in pursuing his artistic calling.
